CMA’s Richmond Dealerships partnered up with the Float Fishermen of VA this past summer. Members of the group collected aluminum from CMA stores as a part of CMA’s Green Team’s recycling initiative. The funds raised were used to take children ages 8-12 from the Boys and Girls Club of Scottsville on a float trip. The group started their adventure at Warren’s Ferry and floated about 3 miles down the James River.
CMA’s Richmond Dealerships Owners Katherine Waller and Andy McEwen have been members of the Float Fishermen Organization since the 1990s.
This group's mission is to teach youth river safety, paddling skills, and conservation.
Katherine and Andy have been instrumental in bridging CMA’s Green Team with CMA’s Philanthropy Team.
